A Space for us

to thrive…

together.

Our Mission & Vision

We are a non-profit organization, located in Charlotte, NC, with a mission to prepare Black youth and young adults to thrive through civic wellness and community care, empowering them to live fully, lead boldly, and liberate completely.

We envision a future where thriving is the new baseline for Black youth and young adults (ages 13-30), where they are nurtured by their communities, rooted in purpose, and empowered to lead lasting change, embracing joy, rest, and justice as the expected norm.

Our Roots

Equal Opportunity & Nondiscrimination Statement

Thrive Liberation Collective (TLC) is committed to a culture of equity, dignity, and belonging. TLC does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, North Carolina state, or local law in its employment practices, volunteer opportunities, vendor and contractor relationships, or in the administration of its programs and services.

TLC's mission centers Black youth and young adults (ages 13–30) as our primary community of focus, in recognition of the specific historical and ongoing disparities they face in access to civic wellness, healing, and community care resources. This mission focus reflects our charitable purpose and is not intended to exclude individuals from general programs, events, partnerships, or employment for which they are otherwise eligible.

Anyone who believes they have experienced discrimination or harassment in connection with TLC's programs, employment, or operations is encouraged to contact us at info@thrivelcc.org, and TLC will respond promptly and confidentially.
